Tokyo, Iran’s

Araqchi told Japanese Deputy Minister of Land,
Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism that volume of the two-way trade is
expected to remain in the same level in the current Christian year too.
He said Iran-Japan relations date as back as 1,500 years and the two
countries have been linked with each other through the Silk Road as is testified
by the cultural relics kept at Japanese museums.
He said Iranian
parliamentary delegation’s visit to Japan is hoped to serve as a suitable ground
to share experience in various fields.
He added that his entourage’s
visit to Japan is hoped to serve as a means for expansion of mutual cooperation.
